mimms software package provides mms (e.g. mms://) stream downloader, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mimms
mimms is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mimms package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mimms *
You will get with mimms package name, version, architecture and description in a table
